This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner has an allover tribal and floral design. It is in mint condition, handmade in the 1970s. This runner has abrash, or the natural variation in color that occurs uniquely in handmade vintage vegetable dye rugs, which gives it character with some of its muted yet vibrant tones. The background is a watermelon color that slowly transforms into a deeper red toward the end. The central medallion is a unique snowflake or star-like diamond of ivory with sapphire, azure blue, orange, silver, strawberry, and cherry accents, and the corners and border are ivory, as well, which creates a lightness to the rug. The colorful accents continue in the borders and throughout the runner's field, with latice-like designs and tribal flowers in all of these colors and more -- camel, copper, olive, gold, burgundy, peach, and countless other muted shades. This runner is handmade with a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. Size: 4'x9'11"
