It's floral design is based on antique rug designs, and it was hand-knotted with colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. Handmade in the 1980s, this runner is made with fine quality wool and it is in mint condition.  The rug's intricate floral sprays fill the watermelon red/pink open field, revolving around a stunning series of central floral bouquets and a beautiful ivory and blue medallion, all of which are framed by charming thin ribbons of repeating small flowers & geometric motifs on steel blue and ivory backdrops.  The lush watermelon backdrop is a perfect setting for the elegant floral sprays and vase bouquets hand-knotted in a lush array of colors - shell pink, teal,royal blue, sapphire, turquoise, khaki, burgundy, moss, camel, lavender and countless other colors.  This runner is handmade with a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Size: 3'4"x10'10"
