This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is both floral and tribal and has incredibly rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition. The rug's charming floral sprays fill the bright red open field, revolving around a spectacular central medallion, all of which is framed by colorful and charming thin ribbons of repeating colorful flowers and other small geometric motifs. The rich strawberry red backdrop is a perfect contrast for the royal blue and ivory medallion that leaps from the rug with color and pattern, its small pink and green accents echoed throughout the rug's red open field. The charming flower details are hand-knotted in royal blue, pink, green, copper, taupe, teal, and white, with a vase full of flowers at either end of the runner. This runner is handmade with a notably full, soft and thick pile that is heavenly underfoot, can withstand high traffic and will last generations. Size: 3'5"x9'10"
