This handmade vintage floral Persian Hamedan runner has bold flower detailing and incredibly rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition.  The rug's intricate floral sprays and bouquets revolve symmetrically around a stunning, delicate central medallion in strawberry ice cream pink, blue and white.  The runner's lustrous backdrop is a unique combination of royal blue & black, appearing blue from a distance until you are close to the rug and can see the distinctive combination (See last photo for close-up). It is the perfect setting for the elegant flowers hand-knotted in a beautiful array of soft and pleasing colors - fruit punch, shell pink, azure blue, taupe, strawberry ice cream pink, dusty rose and silver.  All of these floral bouquets are framed by a coral pink border of geometric flowers on the vine, surrounded by taupe rows of charming small flowers in the pinks and blues of the rug. This runner is handmade with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Size: 3'5"x10'7"
