This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is tribal and geometric with rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes,.  It is a fine quality rug, hand-knotted in the 1980s with quality wool that gives it a supple and soft, thick and fluffy full pile.  It can withstand high traffic and will continue to last for generations to come.  The runner's intricate tribal floral designs revolve around a beautiful central flower medallion of royal blue, shell pink, white, peach, pink lemonade and silver. These colors are echoed  in the four corners, and repeat throughout the runner's highly detailed design.  The backdrop is strawberry red, the canvas for beautiful floral sprays and bouquets that fill the open field with brilliant colors.    All of this is framed by thin rows of repeating small charming flower and vine motifs in all the shades of the rug.  The white of a white and blue diamond repeat row that provides the edge of the border brightens and lightens the runner and makes the border really pop.  Size: 3'9"x10'
