This vintage handmade Persian Hamedan runner has an intricate geometric allover design with colorful small floral details amid lattice-like motifs.  Hand-knotted in the 1980's, this rug is in mint condition.  The full soft pile and sturdy village weave is great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The backdrop is an elusive and beautiful shade of gray with a soft lavender undertone. The allover lattice-like pattern is hand-knotted in shades of pink and gray, from rose coral to ballet slipper pink, silver and fruit punch.  The lattice motifs are interconnected and intertwined with countless intricate small flowers and other geometric shapes in these same shades of pink and gray, adding dusty rose, white, black, camel, taupe, carnation pink, sapphire and countless other vivid colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The border is an ivory ribbon, which lightens and brightens the runner, full of larger flower and vine motifs in all the colors of the rug, framed by thin rows of wine and a final edging of pink and gray.   Size: 3'7"x10'6"
