This is a very fine quality vintage handmade Persian Hamedan runner, over 60 years old and still in mint condition. The tribal, intricate geometric allover design has elegant small floral details interspersed with lattice-like motifs.   The full pile is soft and the sturdy village weave is great for high traffic areas.  This runner will continue to last generations.   The rich warm strawberry red backdrop hosts an allover design in white, silver, copper, shell pink, camel, walnut, olive green and midnight blue. The white lattice-like pattern is interconnected and intertwined with countless intricate small flowers and other motifs, all colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The borders are happy ribbons of color and design. Warm ivory with midnight blue and red waves, and a ribbon of flowers in all the colors of the runner on a burgundy background.  This versatile runner will add elegance and comfort to any space.  Size: 3'x10'
