It is great for high traffic and will last generations. Hand-knotted by tribal village weavers in the 1980s, this runner is in mint condition and made with superior craftsmanship. The bold geometric medallion central pattern is ivory on a rich royal blue backdrop. What appears as a geometric repeating pattern is actually flocks of red and blue birds in flight. Throughout the open field, whimsical and fantastical tribal animals appear in pink, orange, camel, red, blue, rust, coral and emerald green. Colorful designs area laid out like candies and the incredible borders are a dazzling display of intricate motifs in all of the above colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.
