This stunning handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is both floral and tribal with bold floral detailing and incredibly rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition.  The rug's intricate colorful flowers fill the lustrous royal blue open field, revolving around a delicate central medallion in a row of flowers down the center of the runner.  The bright blue backdrop is a perfect setting for the flowers hand-knotted in a beautiful array of delicious spring colors - salmon pink, carnation pink, pale yellow, azure blue, teal, gold, cranberry, mint green, ivory, turquoise, sapphire, sky blue, pale pink and countless other colors. This glorious spring garden in full bloom is framed by a fruit punch border of colorful and larger flowers, edged by a charming pink and green thin row on one side and sapphire on the other.  This runner is handmade with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  This is a unique and stunning runner that will surely brighten any room!
