This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is both floral and tribal and has incredibly rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition.  The rug's intricate floral sprays fill the bright red open field, revolving around a delicate series of central floral bouquets and a beautiful medallion, all of which are framed by colorful and charming ribbons of repeating flowers on burgundy and copper backdrops.  The strawberry red backdrop is a perfect setting for the elegant flowers hand-knotted in a beautiful array of rich colors - sapphire,  azure, ocean blue, sea green, burgundy, ballet slipper pink, mint green, almond, silver, white and countless other colors.  This runner is handmade with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.
