This vintage tribal Persian Hamedan runner was handmade with a geometric design, intricate details and vibrant colors.  The rug has a soft sturdy pile that is great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The background of the rug is a rich, bright red that shifts from cherry to candy apple in what is known as abrash, unique to vintage handmade rugs where variations in color and dyes are used for the same rug.  The spectacular royal blue pops against the red, white and salmon pink of the central medallions.
