This is a stunning and fine quality handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner. Deep midnight blue is the dramatic backdrop for an allover tribal & floral design in shades of coral and blue. Hand-knotted in the 1970s, this runner is in mint condition. Made of quality wool, this village-made tribal rug has a soft and sturdy pile that is great for high traffic areas and will continue to last generations. The repeating geometric and floral motifs in vivid colors against the midnight blue backdrop create an intricate allover design, framed by ribbons of white and sangria with complementary charming small flowers and vines and other tribal motifs. The colors of this runner are remarkable and can only be found in vintage handmade rugs that use vegetable and other natural dyes. Tiffany blue, yellow, yellow, coral, sapphire, almond, rust, sangria, silver, chocolate and white with countless other colors create the elegant patterns. Size: 3'4"x12'9"
