This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner has stunning floral details and incredibly rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition.  The rug's intricate floral sprays and bouquets fill the strawberry red open field, revolving around a delicate series of central floral medallions, all of which is framed by thin colorful and charming ribbons of repeating flowers on an ivory backdrop, which lightens and brightens the rug.  The elegant and finely detailed flowers and vines are hand-knotted in a fantastic array of colors - midnight blue, purple, sea green, lavender, sky blue, ballet slipper pink, violet, olive, fruit punch  and countless other colors.  This runner is handmade with quality wool for a full and soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.
