This handmade vintage Persian Hameddan runner is both floral and tribal and notable for its stunning colors. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition.  The rug's intricate geometric floral medallions look almost like snowflakes and are just as unique and magical.  The warm French rose background, a gorgeous color resembling fruit punch, is a perfect setting for the beautiful flowers in an array of hard-to-find colors, from the palest ballet slipper pink to bubble gum pink and sangria, lavender to lilac, silver and a pale sky blue to stone and gray, all punctuated by white and black accents.  The border is a series of three ribbons, pink framed by purple, with charming repeating flower and vine patterns in the same beautiful colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  This runner is handmade with a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.
