This vintage Persian Hamedan runner was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition. This runner is great for high traffic areas, handmade with a soft and sturdy pile that will last for generations. The rich colors of this rug are what make it so special, all made with only vegetable and other natural dyes. The backdrop is a gorgeous violet blue and the center medallion, the intricate floral and geometric lattice-like design, and the corners are all a lush raspberry red. The tiny floral and tribal details are hand-knotted in lavender, shell pink, fruit punch, moss green, copper, burgundy, coffee and countless other colors. The white border and central medallion lighten and bright. The border has its own charming floral and vine patterns in the same shades, adding more coral and pink to the color palette.
