This vintage handmade Persian Hamedan runner has a rich, autumnal color palette. The intricate allover tribal design has floral and vine motifs throughout. Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this runner is in mint condition. Made of fine quality wool, this runner has a soft and thick pile that is great for high traffic areas and will last generations. The repeating geometric motifs are densely woven in a lattice-like pattern, in elegant shades of coral, ballet slipper pink, fruit punch, watermelon, rose, taupe, walnut, ivory, and beautiful sapphire small birds and accents throughout, all resting on a warm chocolate backdrop. The runner is framed by ribbons of tribal flowers, wave motifs and other charming designs in the same rustic colorway. All colors are made from only vegetable & other natural dyes. Size: 3'8"x10'3"
