This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is both floral and tribal and notable for its stunning and elegant floral details. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition. The rug's delicate and intricate patterns practically cover the entire field, made up of a central row of floral bouquet medallions surrounded by sprays of flower, leaves and vines. The warm fruit punch/strawberry red backdrop is a perfect setting for the beautiful flowers in an array of autumnal colors, from the palest pink and faded tangerine to mint green and chocolate brown, steel gray and gold. The border is a thick ribbon of chocolate brown with larger floral and vine patterns in the same beautiful colors, emphasizing pink and gray. All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This runner is handmade with a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. Size: 3'6"x13'11"
