This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is both floral and tribal and has incredibly rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition. The rug's intricate geometric floral sprays and bouquets revolve around a delicate central floral medallion in ivory, which is echoed by an ivory border of colorful flowers on the vine. The runner's backdrop is a lush watermelon and the accents and flowers are hand-knotted in a fantastic array of rainbow colors - royal blue, sapphire, shell pink, fern green, taupe, burgundy, camel, and countless other colors. The corners are particularly beautiful with an abundance of rich royal blue. And the border is framed by two thin ribbons of small repeating paisley motifs in every rainbow color of the rug. This runner is handmade with a full and soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. Size: 3'8"x9'7"
