This gorgeous and vibrant vintage Persian Hamedan runner is great for high traffic areas, handmade with a full, thick and soft and sturdy pile that will continue to last for generations and is cushy underfoot.  The colors of this rug are phenomenal, a cornucopia of jewel tones that seem to burst from the rug with saturated, rich colors, all made with vegetable and other natural dye.  The backdrop is watermelon pink, brightened and lightened by the bright white border and central floral medallion, along with white accents throughout.   What makes this rug spectacular is the brilliant color palette that fills the runner with intricate floral and geometric motifs around a lattice-like design.  Turquoise, lemonade pink, teal, orange, yellow, burgundy, olive, shell pink, peach,azure blue and and countless other colors form the highly detailed patterns within the central floral medallion, the border and the open field of the rug.  The border is an elegant and dramatic black frame with its own unique playful repeating tribal design in all of the runner's colors.  This rug has one imperfection within the ivory central medallion - there is an area of discoloration.  We are happy to send close-up photos.  Size: 4'x10'3"
