This handmade fine quality vintage pink coral Persian Hamedan runner with floral details was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition.  The diamond central medallion and border are white, which lightens and brightens the rug. The flower and geometric details of the medallion are hand-knotted in a rich shade of royal blue, with sea green, shell pink, watermelon, rosewood pink and sky blue accents.  Delicate tribal details and flowers are hand-knotted in these same colors throughout the rug.  The blue corners echo the medallion and lead to the border, a special feature of this runner, with eight thin colorful layers that frame the runner beautifully, alternating between white pink corak, rioyal blue and rosewood pink.  Each layer is either a thin ribbon of color, or a thicker one with its own tiny geometric motifs, most notably charming flowers or petals.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.   This runner is handmade with a full, sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Size: 3'7"x10'2"
