This is a spectacular Persian Hamedan runner, a fine quality vintage rug hand-knotted by expert tribal weavers using fine quality wool and only vegetable and other natural dyes for a unique and gorgeous color palette.  The classic bold geometric pattern runs the length of the runner with five interconnected medallions, each with the same colors and geometric details.  The primary colors of the runner are bright rose coral/ruby pink, hot pink, violet purple, mushroom, tangerine, white, rosewood pink, lemonade pink, black, champagne and ivory.  The intricate geometric motifs fill the medallions and the surrounding open fields, and the brilliant and vivid colors seem to burst from the rug.  The border is another decorative feature of the runner, with multiple layers and charming details.  The inside frame is shell pink with repeating S curves in black and lemonade pink. The next layer is a thicker row of ruby pink with small geometric repeating flower like motifs in all of the runner's fabulous colors.
