This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner has an intricate tribal and floral allover design with charming details and beautiful colors. Handmade in the 1980s, the rug still has a soft and sturdy full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The allover design is a geometric lattice-like pattern with highly detailed small floral and tribal motifs.  A beautiful blue, somewhere between sapphire and violet blue, creates the lush backdrop for the lattice-like design adorned in abundant details in a beautiful array of colors:  carnation pink, shell pink, spearmint, fruit punch, lavender, ivory, teal, turquoise, copper, gunmetal, plum, coral  and countless others.  The border is another special feature of the runner, a silver gray frame with a garland of geometric flowers on the vine, surrounded by thin plum rows of smaller flower garlands, using all of the rug's beautiful colors.   All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.
