This handmade mint condition vintage Persian Hamedan runner is both floral and tribal, with stunning colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  It was hand-knotted in the 1980s, made with fine quality wool that has a notably thick, soft and full, sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The rug's intricate floral designs revolve around a delicate central floral medallion and coordinating corners in ivory, which lightens and brightens the runner.  The medallion, corners and the delicious watermelon pink backdrop are full of colorful flower details, petals, sprays and bouquets that fill the ivory and pink backdrops with pops of color in Tiffany blue, shell pink, pale peach, burgundy, almond, midnight blue, violet, turquoise, copper, silver and countless other colors.  All of this is framed by a midnight blue border with a garland of flowers on the vine in all of the runner's colors, surrounded by thin rows of repeating geometric tiny flowers on the vine against ivory and wine.  Size: 3'9"x9'6"
