This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is notable for its stunning and elegant flower details and extraordinary colors. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition.  The rug's delicate and intricate patterns practically cover the entire field, made up of a central row of floral medallions with large curling leaves and flowers, surrounded by sprays of flower, leaves and vines.  The backdrop is a beautiful shade of cerise pink, a perfect setting for the flowers and intricate details in Tiffany blue, pale ballet slipper pink, pale peach, ivory, heather gray, sage green, plum, grape purple, orange, teal, magenta, and countless other colors that pop against the cerise pink, especially with the bright white accents. The border is a series of three ribbons of flower and vine patterns in the same beautiful colors, all of which are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  This runner is handmade with a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Its colors are truly unique and hard to find.  Size: 3'8"x10'4"
