This striking vintage handmade tribal Persian Hamedan runner is made of fine quality wool with a soft, full pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations.  The runner was knotted by hand by expert tribal weavers in a classic bold geometric pattern with two prominent medallions in the center of the runner, surrounded by intricate tribal details.  The soft, elegant colors and precise details seem to burst from the rug, made with only natural and vegetable dyes.  A pink coral backdrop is the perfect setting for medallions in the palest shades of peach and pink, adorned in silver, steel blue and taupe and punctuated with black and white. Decorative and intricate tribal flowers on the vine and bouquets, along with other geometric designs fill the coral backdrop with gorgeous designs leading to the dramatic black corners with their own geometric motifs in the same elegant shades of the runner.  All of this is framed by a pink coral border with a charming floral and vine garland, surrounded by thin silver stripes with repeating designs in all the colors of the runner.
