This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner is both floral and tribal and has a unique and elegant colorway. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition. The rug's delicate and intricate floral sprays and bouquet patterns revolve around a central medallion, all of which are framed by colorful ribbons of repeating geometric shapes and flowers. The backdrop is a true coral and the borders and primary accents are a beautiful shade of lavender. The coral/lavender combination is quite striking and the flowers are hand-knotted with pops of color in mint, fern and moss green, midnight blue, camel, pink, watermelon and countless other colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This runner is handmade with a full, soft and very supple pile that is heavenly underfoot. It can withstand high traffic and will last generations. Size: 3'7"x10'4"
