This is a very fine quality vintage ivory Persian Hamedan runner, handmade with a tribal & geometric allover design, rich colors and intricate details that fill the rug with pattern and color. The rug is made with fine quality wool that is sturdy and great for high traffic areas and will continue to last generations. The background is hard-to-find ivory, filled with highly detailed accents of small flowers and geometric motifs hand-knotted in cranberry, forest green, carnation pink, midnight blue and coral, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. The complementary border frames the rug with a cranberry row of colorful small flowers on the vine, followed by a royal blue edge with a similar garland of colorful flowers, using all of the accent colors of the rug.
