This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner has an intricate tribal and floral design with a delicate central medallion. The rug is in mint condition, handmade in the 1980s with a notably thick, soft and full that can withstand high traffic and will last generations - and be super comfortable underfoot. The central medallion is a delicate flower of powder blue, ballet slipper pink, fruit punch pink and white with copper, plum and orange accents. The bright white really pops and draws your eye to the center of the rug. The surrounding raspberry red open field has an intricate, highly detailed and colorful design that revolves around a lattice-like motif that shifts from spearmint green to teal. The surrounding details are hand-knotted in all of the colors of the medallion, in addition to taupe, silver, peach and royal blue, just to name a few. All of the colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. The border is a perfect contrast to the raspberry and teal - a copper frame with its own complementary colorful whimsical geometric motif. Size: 3'5"x12'10"
