This handmade vintage Persian Hamedan runner has a stunning floral design that is so delicate and finely knotted, it appears almost as a painting. The rich colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes and the wool is fine quality.  It was hand-knotted by expert tribal weavers and it is in mint condition. The runner's intricate floral designs revolve around two delicate central floral medallions with dramatic black backgrounds, each one surrounded by a black necklace leading to the border and the beautiful corners.  The black medallions have small flowers of sapphire, white, shell pink, silver, raspberry, mint green, bright pink, rosewood pink and countless others.  These colors are echoed throughout the rug's highly detailed design.  The backdrop is a warm strawberry red, the perfect canvas for the floral sprays and bouquets, urns and vines that fill the open field with a striking design.  The corners are another special feature of this rug, with the elegant black and white backdrop for the colorful flowers in full bloom.
