This vintage handmade Persian Hamedan runner has a rich, autumnal color palette on a chocolate brown backdrop. The intricate tribal design is a hallmark of rugs from this region. The geometric floral central medallion provides a subtle focal point for this beautiful rug. Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this runner is in mint condition. Made of fine quality wool, this tribal rug has an extremely soft, supple and thick pile that is heavenly underfoot, great for high traffic areas and will last generations. The repeating geometric motifs are densely woven in a lattice-like pattern, in vivid and rich shades of coral, rust, walnut, auburn, peach, mint green, ivory, dusty rose and pink, framed by ribbons of tribal flowers and charming designs in the same rustic colorway.
