This is a stunning and fine quality handmade vintage  Persian Hamedan runner with an intricate tribal and floral design in spectacular rainbow colors. It is in mint condition, handmade with a notably thick, full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The central medallion is a rich royal blue diamond flower with a bubble gum pink, sapphire blue and mustard edge and a turquoise and orange center in a ring of red and white, surrounded by petals in hunter green, bubble gum pink, red, mustard, silver, blue and white.  The runner has a bright red background with a lattice-like allover pattern in hunter green,  surrounded by tiny tribal flowers and other geometric motifs in all the colors of the medallion. The white corners and frame of the runner brighten and lighten the rug, leading to a border with a complementary tribal floral and vine design on a rich royal blue backdrop, surrounded by mustard rows of smaller motifs in all the rainbow colors, finished off with a pink binding.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.
