This fine quality vintage Persian Hamedan runner was handmade with an allover tribal & geometric design, intricate details that fill the rug with pattern and autumnal color, and a notably soft, fluffy, thick and sturdy pile.  The rug is made with fine quality wool that is great for high traffic areas, cushy unerfoot and will continue to last generations.   The black background is an elegant setting for the highly detailed accents and geometric motifs that are hand-knotted in a stunning array of Fall colors - crimson, orange, sage green, fern green, hunter green, taupe, almond, mint green, shell pink, sapphire blue and countless other colors.  They fill the runner with geometric details, including leaves and small tribal paisley motifs known as botehs.  The crimson border frames the runner with a complementary repeating design of geometric motifs in all the colors of the runner, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.   Size: 3'9"x10'7"
