This fine quality vintage handmade tribal Persian Hamedan runner was hand-knotted by expert tribal weavers using fine quality wool and only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The classic bold geometric pattern runs the length of the runner with five complementary medallions, all in red, yellow and blue with geometric details.  The backdrop is a bright royal blue with lemon yellow, burgundy and strawberry red accents.  Small tribal designs adorn the rug, including charming small animals - exotic birds and perhaps a mule.
