This handmade fine quality vintage black and white tribal Persian Hamedan runner was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition. This runner is handmade with a soft, thick and sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic, is cushy underfoot, and will last generations. The design revolves around a series of small central geometric medallions on an ebony backdrop with white accents and border that lighten and brighten the rug. This hard-to-find black and white runner has charming details and small motifs that look like colorful pinwheels and small flowers, all hand-knotted in beautiful shades of lavender, tangerine, peach, silver, orange, sapphire, bubble gum pink, burgundy, fruit punch and countless other colors. These delicate tribal details and flowers adorn the small medallions, the dramatic black background and the white border. Rows of sapphire and fruit punch enclose the row of medallions, creating a large elongated hexagon. Note the pretty colorful garland of flowers on the vine that fill the border. Size: 3'9"x10'7"
