This handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner is both floral and tribal in stunning colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and other than some minor distress in the pile in a few areas (see last photo), the rug is in mint condition.  The rug's intricate floral designs revolve around a spectacular central floral medallion and coordinating corners in sky blue, ballet slipper pink, pale yellow, teal, fruit punch, ivory and midnight blue, surrounded by delicate flowers in sapphire, violet, turquoise, pink, lavender, royal blue, Tiffany blue and countless other colors.   The medallion, corners, border and the lush cherry red backdrop are resplendent in colorful flower details.  Floral sprays and bouquets fill the open field with pops of color in all of the same fantastic shades.  You will get lost in the details and the colors! All of this is framed by a border of ivory, palest pink and carnation pink rows of charming colorful small flowers on the vine. This runner is handmade with a full, sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The minor distress makes this rug a fantastic bargain!  Size: 3'6"x10'
