This vibrant vintage tribal Persian Hamedan was woven by hand in the 1980s and is in mint condition.  The unique and stunning color palette is made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The heather gray diamond medallion at the center of the rug hosts a large burgundy flower with ivory, dusty rose, mint green and turquoise accents.  Black is used here and throughout the rug as a dramatic outline for many of the designs. Burgundy and taupe triangles along with a thin turquoise ribbon frame the medallion, leading to a salmon pink layer that is full of charming flowers in burgundy, gray and ivory. Turquoise separates this salmon layer from the silver corners and then again from the border of ivory. The silver corners have bouquets of geometric flowers in the same rich colors, adding violet blue accents to the mix.  The ivory border lightens and brightens the rug, chock full of charming colorful flowers on the vine. The final edging of turquoise, gray and burgundy tiny stripes creates the perfect finish. This rug has a full soft pile, can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  It is a versatile size, great for entrances and bedsides, kids rooms and kitchens and so much more.
