This vibrant handmade vintage Persian Hamedan tribal rug was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition. The brilliant color palette is made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. The coral pink medallion at the center of the rug is surrounded by intricate and playful motifs in orange, peach, camel, taupe, chocolate, pink, hunter green and violet blue, all on a burgundy/rust backdrop. The violet blue is the focal point as it really pops, framing the medallion and in two thin rows of the border. The border is a beautiful compliment to the design with small tribal repeating motifs in the same rustic colors. This rug is sure to enliven any space.
