This is a handmade brand new Persian Gabbeh runner with an allover design that resembles hounds-tooth, or very tiny checkerboard/polka dots. This is a fine quality rug with an extremely sturdy weave and thick pile that can withstand very high traffic and will last generations.  Its contemporary design, hand-knotted in a surprising array of colors that become more apparent as you get closer, much like a pointillist painting.  The colors slowly shift throughout the runner, creating a unique ombre effect. The colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes, and incljude yellow, sea green, olive green, cherry, strawberry, ivory, orange, emerald green, burgundy and more.  Great for kitchens, kids' rooms, entrances, mud rooms, hallways and any spot that has high traffic and is calling out for color.  Size: 2'10"x7'8"
