This handmade fine quality vintage tribal and geometric Persian Finest Baluch has a striking modern geometric design. This rug was hand-knotted by Baluchi tribal weavers using fine quality wool and expert craftsmanship. The rug has a soft full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The repeating geometric medallion designs (known as 'guls' which often represent natural elements such as lakes or mountains) resemble flowers, hand-knotted on a black background in bright red and white for a very dramatic effect. The rug's intricate designs are complemented by a beautiful border of more linear geometric designs framed by thin rows of bright white tiny wave-like motifs.
