This is a vintage handmade very fine quality Persian Finest Baluch accent rug or small runner, hand-knotted by Baluchi tribal weavers with expert craftsmanship, fine wool and natural dyes. Great for high traffic, this rug has a notably soft, thick and supple pile that is cushy underfoot and will last generations. The repeating tribal designs are intricate and dazzling, unfolding in layers. An ivory backdrop at the center of the rug is the focal point, with cherry red and royal blue beautiful motifs with bright orange and emerald green tiny pops of color. The thick frame of cherry red with complementary royal blue tribal designs is finely edged with a bright white wave-like motif. All of the colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. Note the minor distress of the rug lies in the color running in one area of the rug - see last photo for close-up.
