Unique handmade Persian Finest Baluch tribal and geometric new accent rug, lightly distressed. This village rug is high quality with a high and tight knot count for finer, more precise details. Hand-knotted with lambswool, this rug has a soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The central pattern is a repeating tribal paisley-like motif known as a "boteh". These botehs are not only the typical cherry red but also have details in orange and purple and lime green and taupe, which is very unique for this style of rug. The creamy ivory background showcases these vibrant colors beautifully, and the entire rug is framed by a thick row of red borders with wave and other tribal motifs in purple, black and white. All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This rug has a small area of light distress in the ivory pile, as shown in the last photo. It is not noticeable unless you are very close to the rug. Size: 3'6"x6'3"
