This handmade brand new tribal and geometric  Persian Finest Baluch has a striking modern geometric design.   This rug was hand-knotted by Baluchi tribal weavers using fine quality wool, a high knot count and expert craftsmanship.  This rug has a notably thick and supple pile that can withstand high traffic, is soft underfoot and will last generations.  The intricate repeating geometric medallion design resembles flowers or snowflakes and is known as a 'gul' which often represents natural elements such as lakes or mountains.  These guls are hand-knotted in bright strawberry red on a dramatic black background with tiny parchment color centers. This parchment color appears again in a small wave-like repeat for the rug's intricate border, and as the center of the border's repeating complementary red and black design.  The colors are made from only natural and vegetable dyes.
