This is a brand new and fine quality handmade Persian Finest Baluch accent rug/small runner.  This rug was hand-knotted by expert Baluchi tribal weavers with an allover intricate geometric design known as "botehs", an ancient precursor to paisley that is found in many tribal textiles from around the world. It was often used to represent life/eternity as a symbol of nature.  The boteh motif in this rug is highly detailed and finely knotted in white and chocolate, red and copper on a royal blue backdrop.  All colors are made from only natural, vegetable dyes.  The border is a complementary and equally intricate design with geometric shapes framed by a wave-like repeating motif, adding bright orange and green as tiny pops of color.  Handmade with 100% lambswool, this rug has a soft full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Size:  3'3"x5'10"
