This is a new Persian Baluch accent rug handmade by Baluchi tribal weavers using fine soft wool. This rug has a sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The tribal and geometric design is known as "elephant foot", a hallmark of rugs from this region.  The background color is an elegant and elusive neutral shade of champagne that has a sheen to it in certain light.  The bold geometric medallions are hand-knotted in holiday colors - cherry red, bright emerald green, burgundy, black and white.  Note the intricate details within  and surrounding the elephant feet, tribal flowers and other interesting geometric shapes. The borders are particularly intricate with their own repeating small tribal motifs in rows of red with black, white, and small pops of orange.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Size: 3'3"x5'9"
