This handmade brand new Persian Finest Baluch tribal accent rug/small runner is made of fine quality soft lambs wool. This rug has a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The geometric and tribal allover design is known as an 'elephant foot' and it is a common pattern for Baluchi rugs from this region, hand-knotted by village weavers using only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The allover design is woven in intricate detail in black, copper and white on a candy apple red background.  The intricate border with rows of wave-like repeating motifs has pops of orange throughout. Note the small sprays of tiny white flowers that alternate with the diamond motifs.
