Brand new handmade fine quality Persian Baluch accent rug or small runner.  The rug is known as a Finest Baluch, made with quality wool, a high knot count, and excellent craftsmanship.  The rug has a soft thick pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The repeating allover tribal octagonal design is known as a "gul",  a hallmark of rugs from this region that dates back centuries, and often represents a naturalistic element, such as a lake or a plant. The pattern is red and ivory with black accents and pops of unexpected color in yellow, olive and Kelly green. Repeating geometric motifs of waves, diamonds and other motifs continue in detailed concentric borders.  All colors are made from only natural and vegetable dyes.  Size: 2'9"x5'7"
