Brand new handmade fine quality Persian Baluch accent rug, small runner or tapestry/wall hanging.  The rug is known as a Finest Baluch because it was hand-knotted by expert Baluchi weavers with quality wool, a high knot count, and fine craftsmanship.  The rug has a soft thick pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The repeating allover tribal octagonal design is known as a "gul",  a hallmark of rugs from this region that dates back centuries, and often represents a naturalistic element, such as a lake or a plant. The pattern is red and ivory with black accents. Repeating geometric motifs of waves, triangles and diamonds continue in concentric borders.  All colors are made from only natural and vegetable dyes.  Size: 3'3"x6'
