This handmade extremely high quality small Persian Bidjar accent rug/scatter rug is a hard to find  (almost) square.  The intricate tribal, floral and geometric design is known as a "fish design" in which the small curls represent fish which "swim" in a sea of tiny flowers and other delicate motifs.  The deep midnight blue background of the rug encompasses a large central medallion with a crimson background and endless tiny motifs in a wide array of vivid colors, all of which is framed by a border of sapphire and lavender rows surrounding a crimson garland of colorful flowers on the vine.  The finely detailed charming small motifs throughout this little gem are hand-knotted in a spectacular array of rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes:  sage green, mint green, carnation pink, bright royal blue, peach, plum, turquoise, emerald green, white, copper, lilac, yellow, taupe and countless other colors.
