This semi-antique tribal and geometric Persian Bidjar was hand-knotted in the 1960's and is in mint condition. The rug has a thick, sturdy weave which makes it known as an "iron rug" that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. It is also uniquely square. The Bidjar pattern is known as a "fish design", the small curls representing fish. The elegant color palette of salmon and ivory background is host to an intricate geometric design in black, rose, pale green, sky blue and pomegranate. All of the beautiful colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. Size: 6'7"x6'9"
