Handmade new Persian Bidjar from the early 2000s in mint condition and extremely fine quality. This allover pattern with intricate details of feathers and flowers is hand-knotted in an array of colors that become more apparent as you look closer. The elegant coral/peach border is framed by ivory ribbons, all decorated with detailed floral and vine designs. This rug has a very high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) and was hand-knotted using fine quality wool and exquisite craftsmanship. Bidjars are so thick and dense,  they are known as "iron rugs" that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. It is also extremely supple and soft. The ebony background is an elegant backdrop for olive moss, mint and fern green vines and dusty rose, burgundy, fruit punch, silver, gold and white feathers and flowers. The exquisite and delicate motifs are all made from colors with only vegetable and other natural dyes. Size: 4'1"x5'7"
